Abrahel...
During the 15th century, the covenants of a sect of women called Bansharies were at the summit of their political and financial power. The Bansharies were strategically placed among the nobles, infiltrating the courts and the churches of Europe and Abrahel –then called Baroness Sophia de Verona--, was the high priestess. Her manipulations resulted in the invasions of Africa and the Americas and the massacre of hundreds of millions of innocent people.
As a succubus Abrahel could change bodies at will and she was able to feed by stilling the life essence of her preys through the climax of the sexual act; but when divine intervention was needed, angels came down to the land and godsend Saint Rodolfo, cursed them and favored the creation of the Inquisition; since then, the Bansharies are trapped in their beautiful bodies, incapable of dying but not immune to the damages of time.

A fallen angel but not immune to despair; Abrahel entertain some thoughts on the way to the Convent: “At the beginning it was not your mother but mine the first of all, all of us. They call her many names, but you might know here as Lilith, even if your Bible forgot to mention her. Demon, they called her even if she was your father’s first wife, created from the same earth and the same divine breath. Demon they call her, because she refused to be submissive; she was an equal and not a rib. They still call her a demon, but she is the one who left the Garden on her own will, as opposed to your parents who were banished from it.”
It is the year 1985 AD, and Abrahel’s is on her way to the Convent of Saint Mary, a road she has not traveled since that day 500 years ago, and she remembers…
1505 AD, the Baroness’s carriage was on its way to the Convent of Saint Mary where her step daughter, Duchess Michelle de la Croix, was held captive seven months into her pregnancy.
That tragic day Abrahel desperately attempted to save her step daughter, but not as an act of love. She was present at Michelle’s birth but she killed the mother and soon after married the father. Making use of the dark arts, Abrahel learned to manipulate the bloodlines of the seven gates of life, and Michelle was new born gate, through which gods, angels and even demons could cross into the realm of men.
Abrahel raised Michelle as a Banshary, teaching her the forbidden knowledge, and when she came to age, she made her conceive a child that was not meant to be. This child should become an avatar to be inhabited by an ancient demon of death.
But Michelle was only the “Gate”, and her key was a man, but not any man, he was a saint called Rodolfo, her other half, believed to be the incarnation of an archangel. He fell from grace and impregnated Michelle, but he cursed her and all of her kind.
The Duchess Michelle, was taken to trial under charges of witchery and she was found guilty, but thanks to her pregnancy she was allowed to live until she would give birth to the child. Michelle was imprisoned in the dungeons of the Convent of Saint Mary until…
…at the seventh month of pregnancy, she escaped; She ran out to the bridge, and she jumped…
The legend tell how the body of the Duchess was never found, but the body of Michelle de La Croix was recovered and returned to the dungeons of the convent, hidden by the church, where it remained lifeless but unharmed by time and still pregnant.

Abrahel could feel a great power roaming inside the walls of the convent. To hide the girl from her is something that only a very old powerful being could do; and she knows exactly who it is: an angel once adored as a goddess.
...but in 1981, Abrahel noticed her powers increased, when a new incarnation of saint of Saint Rodolfo absolved Michelle from her curse when she haunted him as a boy. His name was Max di Santi.
The spirit of the duchess Michelle rested three days inside her body locked in dungeons of Saint Mary, but on the fourth day her body turned into dust, and a baby girl came out alive… they called her Emmanuelle and for this reason Abrahel is back, walking over holy land…
