…Prologue

 

“Demented” is the compilation of the legends of the Seven Gates of Life, the story of Max di Santi, a secret agent for an ancient organization that centers the political and financial powers. He’s in charge of ending a wave of death on which the victims had their hearts ripped of their chest while alive.

 

Max is trapped in a time loop and has no memory of his past or his identity, waking up every day in December 2012. Everyday Max discovers that he is fluent in fifteen languages, he is blessed with inexplicable psychic faculties and his body is a mortal weapon.

 

Max is only one of many others: They are eternal souls that have come to life many times to be present at the moments and events that have changed the world forever. They come in pairs, seven females and seven males, alphas to the seven branches of the human race. The females are called Gates and the males are called the Keys, because through them, angels, gods and even demons can come to the realm of men. They are the children of the Alpha-Omega and it is believed that the blood union of these seven houses can create an avatar for the Messiah.
