If the end of time was December 2012, according to the Mayan, present time is evidently our life after the end; but in “Demented”, the story line starts on the last day of the ancient calendar.

The Ages are periods of human history with a defined beginning and end. Max discovers that according to the believers, these ages range between 2000 and 2900 years.

The Age of Pisces is the stated period, during the last incarnation of the Alpha-Omega in year 0, until its upcoming new incarnation. That period is also known as the Age of the Dead Gods; therefore the new Age is literally “The Age of Aquarius”.

This story moves freely in time, as we visit the previous lives of the main characters, showing us different important periods of human history all the way back to the days of the Paradise and the first incarnation of the Alpha..
